Jakarta Public Service (JPS) appreciates the award for public service implementation in the category of excellent service with the highest score (A) received by the Jakarta Provincial Government through the Capital Investment and One-stop Service (PMPTSP) from the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (PAN-RB).
JPS Executive Director Mohammad Syaiful Jihad said, excellent service could still be done during the COVID-19 pandemic through innovation from conventional systems to online systems.
JPS: Let's Comply with Strict PSBB Rules"I think they (PMPTSP Agency) are ready to anticipate and respond quickly to developments that occur. Thus, permit and non-permit services can still be conducted effectively and efficiently. I congratulate and appreciate, Jakarta managed to get the highest score from the ministry," he expressed, Sunday (3/14).
According to him, online services through the JakEVO application would be a trend in the future.
"That's why there should be development and socialization considering we are currently in the digital era. It needs quick adaptation as people want excellent service that is fast, easy, effective and efficient," he explained.
He went on to say that it could also prevent official-community meetings. That meant that the potential for irregularities (KKN) could be minimized.
"It really supports the realization of good and clean government," he stated.
He added that various permits and non-permit facilities would also have an impact on a good investment climate.
On the other hand, the Indonesia Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) had recorded that the investment in Jakarta reached Rp 95 trillion, consisting of the domestic direct investment (PMDN) by Rp 43 trillion with 17,667 projects and Foreign Direct Investment Realization (PMA) by USD 3.6 billion or Rp 52 trillion with 16,787 projects.
"Jakarta is still very potential and is the prima donna for businessmen or entrepreneurs or local and international businessmen. The more business opportunities, the labor absorption can also continue to increase," he explained
He added the award was a motivation for all levels of the PMPTSP service to continuously improve service quality.
"Keep doing improvement and don't be allergic to suggestion and criticism from the community. Moreover, this is also one of the indicators for the assessment of the ministry," he stated.
As reported earlier, the PMPTSP Agency was declared to have provided excellent public services to residents based on the results of monitoring and evaluation of the performance of public service delivery at the regional governments of 33 provinces and 221 sub-districts/cities throughout Indonesia.
